{Project Life} Week 13: 03.24-03.30

Welcome to my Project Life update!  If you are new to Brighter Horizons, hello and kick back, stay awhile!  I'm Nubia - I'm a fairly newlywed {a year and a half} and doing what I can to try to document my wonderful life with my husband and sharing our experiences in the process.  If you want to check out PL from my beginning, click here.  There are also some other links in that blog that describe what this is all about.  It's something that I love and that I'm absolutely passionate about!  Happy reading!!

Week 13.  I made the mistake of adding Easter Sunday to this week.  Oops!  Not a huge deal.  I did add sonogram pics of my upcoming nephew which we are all so excited about!  All in all, not a bad week, but it was a bit slow.

I love this "Stress Less" list I saw on Facebook.  I feel like it's something that everyone should have handy.  The "Go to bed earlier" is a little difficult to do 6 nights out of the week, but it's still smart.  The "Hello" 3x4 journaling card is from the March Studio Calico Neverland Project Life kit.  I love all of the colors!  The arrow is from another Studio Calico set, but I don't remember which one.

I was so excited for my color Ikea utensils and bowls.  They're actually for kids, but I don't even care.  $2 for each set made it an easy sell for me.  Ü  The "Live your life" card was made with a few embellishments.  "Live you life" came from the March PL kit, I believe.  The elephant is from Amy Tangerine's Ready, Set, Go collection.  The washi tape is from the March PL kit and the green card is from the more colors set from March Studio Calico.

I've been playing with Dbl Cam the last couple weeks.  It's a pretty cool little app.  The only thing that sucks is the import to Instagram doesn't fit the entire picture.  You have to do some editing in order to get it all into Instagram.  Other than that, kind of fun.

So, on Easter Sunday my mom and I made my tutu for the Color Run on April 6th.  It turned out awesome!  Michael agreed to wear a head band one, so don't worry...there will be pictures of that! =P

I fully believe that you are never too old to dye Easter eggs.  We tried doing this marbelized look which is really just adding vegetable oil.  Never. Again.  It made the eggs gross feeling and we had to wipe them all down because, well, oil doesn't really dry.  Lesson learned.  Mom got a pretty cure picture of us in our creative process.  The "Happy Easter" are made with gel stickers that are way cute.  Not really sure of the brand.

Poor cold birds!  I took these pictures at our new store by our house.  I was there late that Tuesday night to take measurements.  It was frigid.  These poor pigeons {and if you know me, you know I hate almost all birds} were so cold I was able to stand right next to them and they didn't fly off.  I felt kind of bad.  The picture on the right is all of us laying around on the couch.  It cracks me up when our furry babies are laying all over us.  The "March 25" is made with alpha stickers from the March PL kit.  The strip is from a set that I don't remember...

It cracks me up every time I see this banner outside of Walgreens.  Someone tagged it and I think it's kind of neat looking.  The 3x4 is from the March PL kit.  I added this neat kind of clear washi tape {I believe by K&G Company, Smash products} to the picture of Jolie.  Added a little pop.

The bottom two middle pictures are sonograms of my latest nephew.  I'm so excited for my brother and his wife and the current little monkey.  We are all so thrilled!

That's all for Week 13.  Don't forget to check out The Mom Creative's PL link party for more fun and inspiring layouts!
