{Project Life} Week 17: 04.21-04.27

Welcome to my Project Life update!  If you are new to Brighter Horizons, hello and kick back, stay awhile!  I'm Nubia - I'm a fairly newlywed {a year and a half} and doing what I can to try to document my wonderful life with my husband and sharing our experiences in the process.  If you want to check out PL from my beginning, click here.  There are also some other links in that blog that describe what this is all about.  It's something that I love and that I'm absolutely passionate about!  Happy reading!!

Week 17.  Work slowed down with the new store opening on the 27th.  The only craziness was getting things wrapped up for class.  That took a lot out of me.  But early graduation celebration with my mom at the Fox seeing Celtic Woman.  It was phenomenal!  And spent a lot of the week just lounging around with the furry kids and my wonderful husband.

I used a few cards from the Clementine core kit from Becky Higgins.  I purchased the digital kit and printed off one of each card.  A few of them tied in nicely with this week's spread.  I used a Clementine card on the top right with a wood veneer pennant.  I had purchased a bunch from Tree to Treasure.  These are amazing and beautiful and I'm so excited to include these in my spreads.  I've never used them before so stamping on them is a first as well.  The "status update" stamp is from the SN@P collection, I believe.  The "click click" card with the camera was from a fellow PLer from the Studio Calico group.  I participated in a card swap a couple months ago and my partner flaked so this girl was wonderful and sent me some she made!  I LOVE the cards she sent!!  The arrow card is from the May Studio Calico Spencers kit as is the 4x6 "this makes me happy" card with the pups.  I love the Boston card.  I found it on Facebook.  Just felt necessary to add.

The top left and bottom 4x6 cards are from the Clementine edition.  The two 3x4s are from the February Studio Calico PL kit.  I added the washi tape (from Smash), bubble heart sticker (from SN@P), and wood veneer people on the one to the right.  It's my own little creation.  Ü  I got my stamps all organized into binder which I'm really excited about!  It's nice to have them easily accessible and even easier to flip though.  Included a couple more status updates.  One about my insane procrastination and another about getting another credit card paid off.  Gearing up for having to payback student loans soon!

That's all for Week 8.  Don't forget to check out The Mom Creative's PL link party for more fun and inspiring layouts!

    1. Thanks! This is actually the first time I've used Clementine in mine. I purchased the Turquoise kit when I first started, but ended up not using a lot so I kept a few of some of the cards and sold off the rest. I figured I'd just buy the digital ones going forward and print and use as I need them.
